Howard is the go-to man to contact when you may realize you have a need for personal protection. He's also "the man" when you are interested in learning about any of the various firearms, ammo, hunting, proficiency in shooting sports and for obtaining your Texas Concealed Carry permit. When you want to learn about weapons safety, Howard is the man to help with any question you may have.  In addition to being a NRA Instructor for Certified Muzzleloading Pistol, Certified Pistol, Certified Rifle, Certified Muzzleloading Rifle, and Certified Muzzleloading Shotgun he is also NRA Certified to train Range Safety Officers for their RSO Certificates.

Howard's love of shooting started when he was a young boy living with his parents and younger brother on a strawberry farm in rural Oregon. Nestled between the beaches of the Pacific Ocean, Portland,  and Mount Hood he learned trapping and shooting skills and loved to bring  home pheasants and quail for their dinner and an occasional deer that had been nibbling their crops.

Howard became interested in shooting sports and joined a traveling group that put on trick shooting shows along the Oregon Coast.  He was adept at shooting from horseback as well as shooting upside down while being held by his feet while never (well hardly ever) missing the target.  

After his thirty-year white collar career in photography and semi-retired from the photo business he and his associates are currently engaged in website design and production, selling residential and commercial roofing, and teaching various firearms safety classes including the “NRA Handgun First Steps", Concealed Handgun License, and training Range Safety Officers for various shooting ranges in Dallas County.
